The DN-500R is a solid-state audio recorder tooled into a space-saving 1 RU chassis. Contains a bright, highly visible OLED display, SD/SDHC and USB media recording and playback. Great for use in education, houses of worship, lecture recordings, hotel/conventions, etc.
Works well for audio recording installations in any environment. Very reliable and contains analog balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs with broadcast-grade AES/EBU digital inputs. Use the switching power supply for easy-integration into applications and environments tat find themselves outside the realm of 110V AC power.
Audio can be captured onto an SD/SDHC card up to 24-bit/96kHz, however the USB port on the front panel also allows for acquiring audio. Both record mediums can be used simultaneously along with new Dual Record feature. Great for conferences where audio needs to be captured immediately and clearly. Can extend recording times by switching to the other media when the primary memory is full. The USB keyboard port on the front panel allows for the naming of files while a recording is in process.
Recordings can be edited directly on the device or marked with EDLs for later review.
