Its metal construction make it rough and reliable, while its shock-mounted capsule give it low sensitivity to impact and unwanted noise and the cardiod pattern provides isolation from other on-stage signals. The e835 also features a hum compensating coil to make it more resistent to electrical interference as well as an on/off switch that is designed to act silently.
