Product Description
The HDMI-2X8 is not a standard 2 by 8 distribution amplifier. Instead, it features two independent inputs—an HDMI input, as well as a DVI input with optional digital SPDIF or optical audio. When the DVI/digital audio source is selected, the HDMI-2X8 automatically converts the signal to the HDMI format and routes it to eight HDMI outputs. Front panel source selection provides switching between the HDMI and DVI/digital audio inputs.
The HDMI-2X8 is either modular or includes rack-ears for mounting in a standard 19” equipment rack. Multiple HDMI-2X8s may be linked for more than eight outputs.
