FBT Hi Maxx 40a Product Description FBT's HI Maxx 40a speaker features lightweight, yet rugged gas injected molded polypropylene cabinet construction.
The asymmetrical shape of the HI Maxx 40a cabinet also enables use as a powered floor stage monitor.
HI Maxx 40a is a 2-way design incorporating a custom FBT designed, B&C manufacturered 12” low frequency woofer with
neodymium magnet and a B&C 1.7” High frequency driver coupled to a 90°H x 60°V horn. The active internal crossover is at a fixed frequency of 1.6k. With a frequency range of 45Hz – 20kHz, the HI Maxx 40a provides hi fidelity sound for speech and music applications with a maximum SPL of 127 dB.
The four M -10 fly points built into the cabinets, along with the optional Box 100 or Box 101 mounting brackets allow the Maxx 4a speakers to be surface mounted on walls or ceilings. A standard 1 3/8 speaker stand socket allows the HI Maxx 40a to be mounted on speaker stands.
