Biamp Systems 801i Product Description
The Biamp 801i Eight channel mixer is reliable, simple to install, and simple to operate. The 801i features eight mic/line inputs with an additional auxiliary line input. Each of the mic/line channels features a differentially balanced, discrete transistor preamplifier from Biamp for increased performance with low noise and low distortion. The 801i also features a limiter on the master output and optional remote control of main out via an external level control to make the 801i even more versatile.

Each channel control includes a level knob, a screw-driver adjustable trim control (0-60dB), a pad switch on the rear panel, a +10 indicator that comes on when the channels signal level reaches +10 dB (8dB below clipping), an unbalanced direct output terminal, and a high-pass 'rumble' filter switch. The front panel also provides Bass and Treble adjustment and a master output control. The limiter is controlled by a screw-driver adjustable control with a red LED indicator that lights up when the signal levels exceed the threshold setting and the limiter is activated.
